How My Entrepreneurship Minor Led Me to Start Bookhammer Media LLC
If you told college-age me that one day I’d start my own media company, I probably would’ve laughed and gone back to stressing over group projects. Back then, minoring in entrepreneurship felt like a fun add-on, not a roadmap. I loved the idea of building something from scratch, but I never imagined I’d actually do it.
Fast forward to today, and here I am officially announcing something I’m genuinely proud of — Bookhammer Media LLC.

What started as me casually posting on TikTok and Instagram has grown into a community, opportunities, brand partnerships, and a version of myself I didn’t even know was possible. I fell into content creation without meaning to, but at some point the metrics, the engagement, and the messages from people who related to my chaotic, unfiltered life made me realize… this is a real thing. A real business. And it deserved to be treated like one.
That’s when my little entrepreneurship minor came crashing back into my life. In college we were taught that entrepreneurship starts with recognizing value before anyone else does. And over the past year, I’ve watched the value of my own voice, personality, creativity, and community grow. I just needed to catch up and formalize it.
So I took the leap. Filed the paperwork. Got an EIN. Opened the books. And Bookhammer Media LLC was born.
This business is more than tax write-offs and invoices (although yes… the tax write-offs are beautiful). It’s a commitment to myself. To my creativity. To the future I’m building. It’s believing that my story, my humor, my perspective, and my connection with people online matter enough to scale into something bigger.
Bookhammer Media LLC will be the home for everything I create.
The partnerships.
The storytelling.
The blog.
The videos.
The brand I’m shaping in real time.
I’m excited. I’m nervous. I’m proud. And honestly, I’m just getting started.
Here’s to turning chaos into a career, passion into purpose, and a college minor into a business.
Welcome to Bookhammer Media LLC. Let’s see where this goes.
