Why Koda Has Worn the Same Harness Since 2020

I think longevity comes down to a few simple things.
The fit never shifted
Even as Koda matured and filled out, the harness kept its shape. It didn’t stretch in weird ways or start sitting wrong on his shoulders.
The materials aged well
After six years, it looks used, but not broken. That’s the difference. The fabric softened a bit, but the structure stayed intact.
The design worked for a pulling dog
Koda pulls. Always has. The harness distributes that pressure in a way that never caused rubbing or hot spots, even on long days.
If something was going to fail, it would’ve happened years ago.
Why I Never Replaced It
I didn’t keep using this harness because I was loyal to a brand.
I kept using it because there was no reason to replace it.
That’s honestly the highest compliment I can give any piece of gear.
When something survives six years of real use, it stops feeling like a product and starts feeling like part of your routine. You stop thinking about it. You just clip it on and go.
Would I Buy It Again?
Yes. Without hesitation.
Not because it’s trendy or because I’m trying to sell something, but because I’ve already seen what it can handle. Six years is a long test period.
